Staff are now using the procedure manual and its effectiveness can already be seen.

Due to the nature of our work, some staff lose their focus on the bigger picture of business development and Wayne’s ability to challenge all staff, to keep them focused on task and identifying areas of opportunity along with finding solutions that make the journey more direct is invaluable.

We employed Wayne as Credit Control Manager at Risksmart entrusting him with the sole responsibility for the cash management of the business, which has a turnover of £1.2 million pa.

Wayne had autonomous management and budgetary control of a team of credit controllers and was responsible for selection, recruitment, training and all other personnel matters.

Upon joining us he introduced a cash collection process that he designed and has continued to modify and improve. His personal performance has been fantastic and he and his team have continually achieved the performance targets set.

Wayne was contracted to manage our Credit Control between April and November 2012.

He was extremely effective in this role and dealt professionally with all of our clients having the ability to logically build the detail so that they would have no option but to resolve the debt. One particular client with a significant volume of old unpaid invoices and who was exasperating management could not resist this professional approach and paid in full.

Wayne also worked on updating our processing and data collection methods in order to streamline our operation.
